Pre-accelerated Resinpal 1705 polyester resin including MEKP hardener can be used with glass fiber mats in the automotive sector, in boat building, in model making, for the production of swimming pools and ponds as well as for the production of all kinds of molded and components.
The universally applicable ready-to-use polyester resin Resinpal 1705 is excellently suited for applications in model making, for impressions or for repairs of large and small holes and cracks. You can use the high-quality polyester resin, for example, to manufacture laminates using the “wet-on-wet” lamination process (GRP), to renovate roofs or to seal and manufacture showers or bathtubs. The medium reactive polyester resin Resinpal 1705 cures without tackiness and can easily be coloured with polyester color pastes.
The polyester lamination resin Resinpal 1705 is easy to handle and easy to process. Make sure that the mixture is well mixed after adding the MEKP hardener and that the room and material temperature is at least 18 degrees. The hardener content for Resinpal 1705 polyester resin should be in the range from 1.5 to a maximum of 2 percent. A sufficient amount of hardener is of course included and is included in the price. The processing time is approx. 25 to 30 minutes. The curing time is 24 hours.
The use of metal containers prevents the odor-intensive outgassing of polyester resin, as can happen with plastic canisters.
