This complete package contains all the materials needed for boat building and boat repair based on epoxy resin. The set can be combined according to individual needs. The most important materials for the construction or the repair, which are offered in this package, are the epoxy putty Nautic, the laminating resin Resinpal 2401 in connection with the 60-minute hardener, glass filament fabric and the epoxy top coat Resinpal 2405-H.
At the beginning, the damaged areas have to be cleaned and broken-off areas have to be filled with the Epoxy Putty Nautic. After these areas have been filled in, the area is laminated with fabric and epoxy. Finally, the laminated surface is sealed with a top coat.
You can also add laminating brushes, laminating rollers, deaeration rollers, mixing cups and stirring sticks to the set.
What should be considered when processing Nautic Epoxy Filler? Mix Nautic Epoxy Filler in a ratio of 2:1 base component and hardener and apply the filler to a grease-free, clean and sanded surface . The ambient temperature should be at least 20 degrees. The mixture remains workable for around 20 minutes and can be sanded after 6 to 7 hours.
What distinguishes Resinpal 2401 from other epoxy resins? Resinpal 2401 has a very high thermal (up to 120°C) and mechanical resilience. The laminating resin is the ideal resin for boat repairs and boat building.
What are the properties of the epoxy top coat Resinpal 2405-H? The crystal-clear and UV-stable coating resin is resistant to chemicals and osmosis and is ideal as a surface protection and water barrier layer.
