The UV-resistant and very low-odour synthetic resin is able to cure without air bubbles even with high layer thicknesses due to its low exothermicity and the very good deaeration properties. The 2-component casting resin system with a mixing ratio of 100 parts resin to 45 parts hardener (by weight) hardens within 72 hours without being tacky.

We recommend a minimum processing temperature of 18°C.
How much Resinpal 1717-N3 casting resin can I cast in one application? The epoxy casting resin Resinpal 1717-N3 can be cast up to a casting height of approx. 15 cm. However, we recommend not to pour more than 15 kg per application.
Can I color Resinpal 1717-N3 with acrylic colors? Since Resinpal 1717-N3 is an epoxy resin, we only recommend adding epoxy colors and translucent colors.
How strong is the odor development during processing? The low-odour processing with epoxy resins is a great advantage.
The casting resin has turned white, tough or solid in the bottle. What can I do? Epoxy resins can crystallize above a certain temperature. This can happen if the product is stored too cold or during shipping. This process can be reversed by adding heat (approx. 50°C), for example by placing the container (open the lid first) in a water bath or saucepan.
