Resinpal 1818 is a high quality polyurethane rapid casting resin with low viscosity. The weatherproof and low-temperature-resistant PUR casting resin Resinpal 1818 can also be poured into complicated shapes without any problems and shows high mechanical strength after the 45-minute curing time. Due to the optimal ventilation of the resin, casting heights of 5 cm per work step can be easily represented. Due to the simple mixing ratio of 1: 1 and the low-odor processing, an uncomplicated production of figures, sculptures, stamps, duplicates, models and much more is possible.
We offer Resinpal 1818 with two different hardeners, which allows an individual processing time between 3 and 6 minutes. Due to the longer pot life, the PUR high-speed casting resin with the 6 minute hardener can degas well after casting in the mold. The 3 minute hardener is preferably used for smaller components and series production. Since Resinpal 1818 has a very low viscosity, impressions with the finest contours can also be made.
If there is a need for colored castings, you can color the resin with a polyurethane color paste. The recommended ratio for this is 2 to 5 percent by weight. For processing the tack-free curing resin, we recommend a minimum processing temperature of 18 ° C.

What are the advantages of Resinpal 1818 polyurethane casting resin? Resinpal 1818 is a two-component quick casting resin. The casting can be demoulded after just 45 minutes. Resinpal 1818 can also be used to produce very small and thin-walled models that still have a very high level of stability. Another advantage is the high heat resistance after curing. Due to its low viscosity, the polyurethane resin can also be cast in complicated shapes.
What can I craft with Resinpal 1818? Our customers cast components, 3D figures, play figures, climbing holds, stamps and much more.
Is Resinpal 1818 crystal clear? No. Resinpal 1818 is not crystal clear. For crystal clear castings please switch to Resinpal 1717 or Resinpal 1717-N3.
What do I have to consider during processing? Resinpal 1818 resin component and Resinpal 1818 hardener component are to be mixed in a ratio of 100 to 100 units by weight. The mixture consisting of resin and hardener must be mixed homogeneously.
What precautions do I have to take before processing? When processing polyurethane resin, it is always advisable to ensure good ventilation of the work area. Wearing work gloves and safety goggles is considered mandatory.
