Resinpal glass filament fabric in twill weave with silane size and a weight per unit area of ??280 g/m², is ideal for the production and repair of light and medium-weight GRP components, reinforcements and components with pronounced geometries. It is often used, above all, in boat building and vehicle repairs. In contrast to plain weave, the twill weave is easy to drape. Resinpal glass filament fabric 280 g/m², has first-class impregnation properties and ensures good drapability.
In addition to the particularly high structural strength compared to glass fiber mats, the glass fiber content is also higher. As a result, less resin is required for processing. Glass filament fabric can be processed with epoxy or polyester resin. The resin consumption is around 0.6-0.8 kg / m². Even if glass filament fabrics are more expensive than glass fiber mats, the price pays for itself due to the simpler processing and the less resin required.
